Students must all bring plain black socks
Hair must be worn up and off the neck completely
No earrings or body piercings may be visible. Students must provide their own band aids to cover them
Special dietary or health needs should be brought to the attention of the teacher and Parent Helper
Every year, Encinal High hosts the annual Extravaganza of Bands. Marching bands from all over participate in
this fun event.
Every music student's family is required to help. Help can be in the form of room monitoring, judge's
assistant, hospitality room monitor, hanging signs and more. All band students are told this at the
beginning of the year.
Band Pledges are due immediately. Pledges make up the majority of our yearly operating costs. Band pledge fees are as follows:

After clicking the link, there will be an “add a note” box. Please write the donation information in this box. The Band Boosters need this information so they can track donations for tax purposes and to ensure the students who pay their booster fees are properly credited.
All Band participants are required to pay a band Booster Fee. Please use this form to ensure your student is

Parent volunteers are always needed. In order to volunteer, all parents must be certified by AUSD as
volunteers. Volunteers are required to be fingerprinted. Volunteer drivers must be fingerprinted and submit
their current license and insurance to the main office.

A permission slip is required for every band review trip. Forms will be Distributed by the music director before the trip.
